Listen to music
Listening to music can be a wonderful way to de-stress. We all have our favourite style of music but sometimes it helps to choose something else for a change. Music varies enormously and this enables us to select just the right piece at the right time; slow and restful music for relaxation, upbeat and energetic to accompany the housework or other chores, or bright, cheerful and catchy tunes to sing along to.




Adopt a Stress Pet!
Stress pets come in all shapes and sizes from horses to cows, fish to birds and overall make the ideal pet; clean, accept attention when YOU need them to, and never complain.








Do a puzzle!
Puzzles have been shown to increase our mental fitness and can be great fun. They are an excellent way to forget worries temporarily as they occupy the whole of the conscious mind and thus prevent one from going over and over issues in one's mind. Whether you enjoy computer gaming or a more conventional crossword, sudoku or jigsaw puzzle the effect is just the same - a helpful break in the day!
