Go on a picnic
Getting out in the fresh air, particularly when the sun is shining, is excellent for our health - and we all feel much better for it! Why not pack up a picnic hamper and head for the countryside or visit a local park and relax for a few hours.
Take a walk in the countryside
This does not have to be an all-day event, even a short walk is refreshing and relaxing. Remember to pause at regular intervals to take in the scenary, the sounds around you and the smell of the countryside. Nothing smells fresher than walking through a pine forest after rainfall. Listen to the birds singing and watch the sway of the trees in the wind; each species of tree has its own pattern.
