Fundraising Consultancy
Many small charities find themselves in the position of needing funds to develop service provision, but neither have the time or skills to fundraise themselves nor the resources to employ a professional fundraiser. This is a difficult situation; without the finance the project cannot go ahead and, equally, without the project the future prosperity of the organisation could be affected.
What many organisations need is a fundraiser to get them started, who will also help members of staff or Trustees to lean about the process so they are able to manage this on an in-house basis in the future.

The following services are offered to all charities and voluntary organisations:

  • A one-day consultancy where I meet with representatives of your organisation, discuss your aims and funding requirement. I will provide verbal and written reports on the options that may be suitable.

  • A simple fundraising consultancy service whereby I make the applications on your be-half, or

  • A customised service where I work alongside members of your organisation on a specific project, providing a full explanation as we go along.

These options are suitable for one-off projects or more long-ranging funding requirements.

Fees will be reasonable and dependent upon the amount that you need to raise and the time available.  I do not work on a commission basis.

As a Member of the Institute of Fundraising you can expect me to conform with the requirements of the Institute and the Charity Commission in the methods used and ways of working.

Where a project aims to raise in excess of £10,000 it would be my wish to meet with the Trustee Board, as a whole, so that members can raise any questions relating to the aims of the project. I also recommend meeting with the Board of Trustees for smaller projects although this is not essential.
